Building a Streetcar
A total of 1,240 Twin City Rapid Transit streetcars were built in the Snelling Avenue shops by skilled craftsmen.
They began by welding a steel frame, designed to support the car body. They added sets of wheels with electric motors, and then built the wooden car body on top.
